Russian troops spend whole day evacuating dead and wounded - AFU Commander Madiar

On Sunday, February 19, the Russian army in Bakhmut organized a "sanitary" day and evacuated its dead and wounded

This was reported by the platoon commander of the 2nd assault company of the 28th separate mechanized brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign, Robert Brovdi (call sign Madiar).

He noted that today, as a result of unsuccessful assault operations at night, Russian troops have been evacuating their wounded and killed soldiers from the battlefield all day.

Madiar noted that the night of February 19 in Bakhmut was quite intense, particularly on the western-southern and northern outskirts of the city. It was calm on the eastern outskirts, Russian troops did not succeed on the flanks. According to him, Russian soldiers have failed to reach the western-southern outskirts and the Ukrainian Armed Forces will make sure that they cannot do so in the future.

"I read that China is considering supplying the Russian army with weapons. It's not great news, because apparently it may go through with it, I am positive in my attitude," Madiar said.

He explained that this means that Russia lacks the ammunition they currently have in insufficient quantities.
