Russian troops shell Kostiantynivka, injuring 6 people, damaging houses, shopping center
On Saturday, March 18, the Russian army has struck Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region, injuring 6 people, damaging houses and a shopping center
This was reported by Ukraine’s Office of the Prosecutor General.
According to the investigation, the Russian army fired on Kostiantynivka with cannon artillery and Uragan MLRS. As a result, 2 women and 4 men sustained injuries of varying severity. All the victims were hospitalized.
The shelling also damaged apartment buildings and private households, as well as outbuildings and a shopping center.
Under the procedural supervision of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was initiated in a criminal proceeding over the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
On March 18, Polish citizens were injured as a result of Russian shelling of Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region.
