Russian troops shell at least five regions of Ukraine per day - General Staff 

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this. 

The Russian army launched about 10 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems on the Ukrainian Armed Forces' positions and civilian objects.

“There is still a threat of the enemy launching missile strikes against critical infrastructure facilities deep in the territory of Ukraine. In particular, Russia is keeping an aviation group and cruise missile carrier ships on standby,” the press service writes.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the situation has not changed significantly. 

In the Slobozhansk direction, the occupying Russian forces Russian fired mortars and rocket artillery at the areas of the Kozacha Lopan, Ohirtseve, Budarka, and Chuhunivka settlements in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian forces are defending previously occupied lines. They fired mortars, barrel and rocket artillery in the areas of the settlements of Kupiansk, Tabaivka, Krokhmalne, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region. 

In the Lyman direction, the Russian troops are concentrating on conducting offensive operations. Shelling from the entire range of artillery was recorded near Makiivka and Nevske in the Luhansk region and Yampolivka and Torsky in the Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions, the Russian forces continue to advance. They fired tanks, mortars, barrel and jet artillery in the areas of the settlements of Spirne, Yakovlivka, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Krasnohorivka, Mariinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the invaders fired artillery at the Ukrainian Armed Forces' positions and the areas of the settlements of Vuhledar and Neskuchne in the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Russian forces are defending themselves. Areas of the settlements of Vremivka, Novosilka, Novopillia, Chervone, Zaliznychne, Dorozhnianka and Kamianske, Zaporizhzhya region, were damaged by fire.

In the Kryvyi Rih and Kherson directions, the enemy is defending positions in temporarily occupied territories. The shelling of settlements on the right bank of the Dnipro River, including the city of Kherson, does not stop.
