Russian troops mining bridges and roads in Kharkiv region, preparing covert mobilization in Donetsk region - AFU General Staff

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces shared the information in its report for February 2.

"In Horlivka, all budgetary and municipal institutions have been ordered to submit lists of people with reserved occupation to the military commissariat. All these people will be considered by special commissions of the enemy with further conscription to the enemy's ranks," the statement said.

Ukrainian Armed Forces strike 4 times at Russian manpower concentrations and destroy Russian Merlin drone

Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched 4 strikes on Russian personnel concentrations. The Ukrainian military also destroyed a Russian Merlin UAV.

In turn, Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit 3 Russian manpower concentrations and a control center.

Russian aviation has not yet returned from Belarus to its permanent airfields

The General Staff reports that Russian forces continue active reconnaissance and preparations for an offensive in certain areas, taking measures to strengthen its troops. Offensives continue at the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Vuhledar directions. Russia suffers heavy losses, especially in personnel. In other areas, Russian troops are on the defensive.

No enemy offensive groups were detected on the northern and northeastern border with Belarus and Russia.

Training of Russian units continues at training grounds in Belarus. At the same time, joint exercises of Russian and Belarusian aviation have been completed, but Russian aviation is not returning from Belarus to permanent airfields.

Russian troops shelled 2 settlements in the Chernihiv region, 5 in the Sumy region, and 10 more in the Kharkiv region. 

The situation in other directions is as follows:

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian troops fired at 4 settlements in the Kharkiv region and another in the Luhansk region. 

In the Lyman direction, Russian fired at 3 settlements in the Luhansk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, 6 settlements in the Donetsk region came under Russian fire.

In the Avdiivka direction, Avdiivka and 7 other settlements came under fire.

In the Vuhledar direction, Russian troops fired at Vuhledar and 2 more settlements  in the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, more than 15 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region came under fire from mortars, cannon and rocket artillery. 

In the Kherson direction, Kherson and 10 other settlements in the Kherson region came under artillery fire.

On February 1, Russian troops shelled the Kherson region 34 times using artillery, MLRS, mortars, tanks and UAVs. Four people have been wounded.
