“Our assistance is needed now”: US Ambassador Brink reacts to Russian attack on Ukraine
Russian troops leave established lines on the left bank of Dnipro
Head of press center of security and defense forces of the Operational Command South Natalia Humeniuk reported that Russian logistics on the left bank of Dnipro river are under fire control of Ukrainian Armed Forces.
She said this live on air of Espreso TV channel.
"Hypothetically, Russian troops can threaten Kherson, because distance allows the use of various types of weapons, but Ukrainian Armed Forces do not stand still and use counter-battery combat either. Due to this, Russian forces activity on the left bank of Dnipro river is observed to advance deep from the shore by 15-20 km", Humeniuk noted.
Head of the press center of security and defense forces of the Operational Command South also added that Russian troops leave even established lines on the banks of Dnipro river and move deeper to take into account the long-range artillery of Ukrainian Armed Forces.
