Russian troops launch missile attack on central Kharkiv injuring one person

A woman has been injured by a Russian attack on Kharkiv's Osnovyansk district.

Mayor Ihor Terekhov announced this on Telegram.

"Rocket shelling of Kharkiv. The central part of the city in the Osnovyansk and Kyiv districts is under attack. So far, there have been no victims or victims," ​​the message says.

On the morning of August 27, the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synegubov, reported that a 61-year-old woman was wounded as a result of shelling in the Osnovyansky district of Kharkiv. A fragment of a shell hit the window of her home.

Synegubov also noted that throughout August 26, Russia continued to strike the Kharkiv, Izyum, Chuguyiv and Bogoduhiv districts of the region. Civilian, economic and residential buildings were damaged.

A 71-year-old man died as a result of an attack in the Kharkiv district. A fire broke out in a warehouse with sunflower seeds in the Izyum district. It was possible to save 500 tons.
