Russian troops launch almost 50 shells at Sumy and Chernihiv regions
On December 5, Russian forces have launched 30 shells at the Sumy region and 17 mines at the Chernihiv region, northeastern Ukraine

The Operational Command North reported the shellings on Facebook.
"From 7:30 a.m. to 7:50 a.m., Russian troops fired 30 rounds, probably from barrel artillery, at Manukhivka village, Sumy region. No losses among military personnel, equipment, local population or damage to civilian infrastructure have been reported," the message says.
According to the information, from 08:10 a.m. to 08:45 a.m., 17 shots, presumably from a 120-mm mortar, were reported near Senkivka settlement, Chernihiv region. There are no losses among personnel and equipment.
