Russian troops launch 32 strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure and military positions 

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shared its report on Facebook.

"The Russian army continues attacking civilian infrastructure and its offensive in the Avdiivka and Bakhmut directions," the General Staff notes.

On December 2, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled Russian attacks near a settlement of the Luhansk region and 5 other settlements of the Donetsk region.

Meanwhile, the Russian military launched 5 missile, 27 air strikes and 44 MLRS attacks against civilian infrastructure and positions of Ukrainian defenders along the contact line.

"The threat of enemy missile strikes on the energy system and critical infrastructure throughout the territory of Ukraine remains," the General Staff claims.

It also informs that the situation in the Volyn and Polissia directions has not undergone significant changes, there are no signs of the formation of offensive groups. 

Belarus supports Russia’s armed aggression; the training of individual units of the Russian Armed Forces continues on its training grounds.

• In the Slobozhanshchyna direction, northeast Ukraine, Russian artillery shelling affected 6 settlements of the Kharkiv region.
• In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, eastern Ukraine, Russian forces are defending. They also shelled 2 settlements of the Kharkiv region and 4 settlements of the Luhansk region with tanks and the entire range of artillery. Russian troops launched airstrikes on Novoselivske and Ivanivka settlements.
• In the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions, eastern Ukraine, "the occupiers are concentrating their main efforts on conducting offensive operations." They shelled 14 settlements of the Donetsk region with tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery. Russian troops also launched airstrikes near Verkhnokamyanske, Soledar, and Spirne.
• In the Novopavlivka direction, eastern Ukraine, Russian troops are defending. They shelled 4 settlements of the Donetsk region.
• In the Zaporizhzhia direction, southeast Ukraine, Russian troops are also defending. They launched tank and artillery shelling on 7 settlements of the Zaporizhzhia region.
• In the Kherson direction, south Ukraine, Russian troops are defending previously occupied lines. The positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near 4 settlements of the Kherson region came under artillery fire. Russian forces repeatedly shell Kherson city and its suburbs.
• Over the night, Russian forces targeted the Nikopol region, south Ukraine, 9 times, hitting  residential buildings, energy infrastructure and gas pipelines.
