Russian troops launch 26 airstrikes on civilian infrastructure, use 10 Shahed drones during the last day

On December 30, Russian military conducted 5 missile and 29 air strikes, 26 air strikes hit civilian infrastructure

On December 30, Russian occupying forces launched 5 missile and 29 air strikes, and also conducted 80 attacks from multiple missile launchers

During the last day, Russian troops launched 5 missile and 29 air strikes. It is noteworthy that 26 airstrikes were conducted on civilian infrastructure. Also, Russian forces shelled 80 times with MRLSs, hitting civilian settlements.

Russian occupying forces launched 10 Shahed-136 UAVs into the territory of Ukraine, all of them were eliminated by Ukrainian Defense Forces.

The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces conducted 10 strikes on areas of concentration of Russian troops.

Aviation of Ukrainian Defense Forces 10 times targeted areas of Russian troops concentration, also hitting positions of anti-aircraft missile complexes three times.

Ukrainian defenders of missile and artillery forces hit a command post of the Russian military, 7 areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment, 5 warehouses with ammunition and 2 radar stations.

Ukrainian Armed Forces’ General Staff confirmed fire damage to Russian occupying forces in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions.

"For example, in Fedorivka, Kakhovskyy district, Kherson region, about 200 Russian soldiers were killed, information about wounded is being clarified. In addition, near Polohy and Velyka Bilozerka, Zaporizhzhia region, Russian troops lost 115 servicemen wounded, 5 units of military equipment of various types, anti-aircraft missile complex and ammunition warehouse were destroyed" the press service noted.

Ukrainian Armed Forces’ General Staff also reported that in temporarily occupied Crimea, military commissariats are compiling lists of people for their mobilization in January 2023.

Situation in different directions

Ukrainian Armed Forces’ General Staff claims that danger of air and missile strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine remains.

Russian troops continue to conduct offensive actions in Donetsk and Luhansk regions near Lyman and Bakhmut, try to improve tactical position in Kupiansk and Avdiivka regions.

However, experts did not find any signs of formation of offensive groups on the border with Belarus and Russia.

On December 30, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled enemy attacks in Stelmakhivka, Nevske and 2 other settlements in Luhansk region and in Soledar, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Bilohorivka and 7 other settlements in Donetsk region. 

In the northern and northeastern Ukrainian border with Russia in the Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions Orlykivka, Semenivka, Zaliznyi Myst, Buda-Vorobiivska settlements of Chernihiv region came under artillery and mortar fire;  Khodyne, Atynske, Zapsilya and 4 other settlements in Sumy region, as well as Hlyboke, Morokhovets, Zelene, Ternova and 8 other settlements in Kharkiv region were also affected by Russian shelling.

In the Kupiansk direction and Lyman direction there were shellings of Kamianka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Vilshana, Kupiansk and 4 other settlements in Kharkiv region and Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk region. The Russian forces also shelled Ploschanka, Nevske and Dibrova in Luhansk region, as well as Chervonopivka, Yampolivka and Torske in Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction of the Donetsk region, Russian military shelled Bilohorivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Yahidne, Bakhmut, Kostyantynivka, Andriivka and 12 other settlements with tanks, mortars, cannon and missile artillery. 

In the Avdiivka direction, Vesele, Avdiivka, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Georgiivka, Maryinka, and Novomykhailivka were under attack.

In the Vuhledar direction of the Donetsk region, Russian troops shelled Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Niva, Velyka Novosilka, and Vremivka.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian forces shelled Temyrivka, Poltavka, Hulyaipole, Dorozhnyanka and 6 other settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region and Nikopol and Primyske in Dnipropetrovsk region.

In the Kherson direction, Russian troops continue mortar and artillery shelling of populated areas along the right bank of Dnipro River. In particular, civil infrastructure of Kachkarivka, Naddnipryansky, Antonivka and Kherson was shelled.

 
  • Ukrainian intelligence stated that Russia faced a shortage of missiles: most of the high-precision weapons stocks were exhausted. Russian troops use recently manufactured weapons for attacks on Ukraine.
