The Armed Forces are developing a counteroffensive in the Kharkiv region

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue a large-scale counteroffensive in the Kharkiv region, and also make efforts to liberate the South Ukraine. Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhnyi announced today that more than 1,000 sq. km was released by our defenders in the last few days.  During the offensive in the Kharkiv region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine penetrated the enemy's defenses to a depth of 50 km and liberated more than 20 settlements.  The Armed Forces of Ukraine raised the flag of Ukraine in Balaklia, Volokhov Yar, Ivanovka, and Shevchenkov.  International analytical structures assume that within the next 72 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine can liberate Kupyansk.  The high speed of the advance of Ukrainian forces causes panic in the Russian mass media and the public.  The loss of Kupyansk and other settlements prevents Russia from maintaining offensive and defensive actions, as the city is one of the important transport hubs for the Russian army operating in the direction of Slovyansk and Izyum. We have every chance to further develop a counteroffensive with the encirclement of the Izyum group of Russian enemy troops.  However, the enemy will now throw reserves into battle, although their quality and staffing are not very good.

Reserves for military operations in the Russian Federation are significantly limited

Kremlin propagandists have already distributed a video of the movement of a small column of Russian military equipment. They are trying to present it as the transfer of powerful reserves to the Izyum direction. On this technique, we can see various tactical designations of the Russians.  This means that the Russians are urgently transferring various troops to the Izyum region.  This once again proves the fact that reserves in the Russian Federation are significantly limited.

In the South of Ukraine, the situation is developing according to a familiar scenario.  In particular, the destruction of enemy pontoon crossings, which the enemy brings in order to strengthen their troops on the right bank of the Dnieper.  It is known that the Russians transferred units of the separate "Akhmat" regiment to Kherson.  The armed forces of Ukraine continue missile strikes against Russian occupiers and ground offensive operations.  Ukrainian troops expanded the bridgehead on the left bank of the Ingulets River, and also continue to pin down the enemy forces defending the approaches to Kherson.  By the way, the number of deserters among the occupiers is increasing on the Right Bank.  The operational command "South" reported that in the area of ​​the settlement of Babenkivka Druga, the Russians brought in helicopters to search for deserters.

The U.S. announced a new package of military aid to Ukraine in the amount of more than $700 million

The successful actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region and the South of Ukraine became an excellent background for the fifth meeting of the defense ministers of the 50 countries of the anti-Russian coalition, which took place on September 8.  At this meeting, statements were repeatedly made that the Ukrainians use the provided military equipment and weapons very well. Traditionally, a new package of military aid to Ukraine worth almost $700 million from the United States was announced. This package includes additional ammunition for HIMARS, anti-radar missiles, 105mm howitzers and armored vehicles. It is also provided for allocation of other equipment for the ground forces of Ukraine.
