The Atesh guerrilla movement reports that Russians have increasingly started to switch to cars with Ukrainian license plates due to fears of Ukrainian army strikes.
"But because the village is small and everyone knows everyone, they can't disguise themselves as locals. The Russian soldiers believe that this will protect them from artillery and rocket fire from Ukrainian forces. However, this will not help them," the statement reads.
- In August, it was reported that in the Kherson region, the Russian soldiers went to residents' homes and disguised themselves as civilians to escape from the front.
