Russian troops erect fortifications in Mariupol

In the occupied Mariupol, Russian troops have shifted from installing "dragon's teeth" to arranging dugouts and firing positions

Petro Andriushchenko, an advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, reported the information on Espreso TV.

According to the official, Russian troops are erecting fortifications and equip firing positions.

"They have already shifted from the "dragon's teeth" to the actual arrangement of dugouts, they are already bringing wood, that is, they are building fortifications for infantry, not to fight our tanks. That is why Russians are digging quite strongly around the city, in Mariupol district, in all directions," said Andriushchenko.

Russian forces are also digging trenches from the side of Novoazovsk, the advisor noted that it seems that they are expecting an attack to come from this side.
