Russian troops destroy three humanitarian aid bases in Kherson
Russian troops have destroyed three humanitarian aid bases in Kherson in a few days. The Red Cross center was the last to be targeted
Mykola Taranenko, commander of the Kherson regional rapid response unit of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, shared the information on Hromadske Radio.
According to him, Russian troops deployed three Shahed drones to attack the Red Cross warehouse, leading to the complete destruction of the facility through fire.
"Russian troops have already destroyed the third base, they are attacking humanitarian centers. Twice they have targeted warehouses of other organizations, but most recently they have targeted our humanitarian aid warehouse, the Red Cross warehouse... They launched the attack with Shaheds, the attack was targeted. For example, three Shaheds crashed into our warehouse, and everything burned down," Taranenko said.
He also noted that Russian troops switched to ballistic missiles, resulting in an increase in the number of incoming attacks, heightened destruction rates, and casualties in Kherson.
