Russian troops continue to rob residents of Kherson region, AFU repel over 50 enemy attacks per day – General Staff

Invading Russian forces are robbing local residents in the temporarily occupied Kherson region, while the AFU repelled over 50 enemy attacks over the course of a day

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this on Facebook.

“Occupying Russian forces continue to rob the local population in the temporarily occupied Kherson region. In particular, in the village of Krasne, Kakhovka district, Russian mercenaries are actively taking away private cars with trailers and trucks, into which they load the looted property of local residents,” the military said.

Russia launched 23 airstrikes over the last day

Over the course of March 25, the Russian army launched 1 missile strike, 23 airstrikes, and over 20 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems at the Ukrainian Armed Forces' positions and civilian infrastructure in towns and villages.

The General Staff emphasized that the threat of Russian missile and airstrikes on Ukraine remains high.

AFU repelled over 50 Russian attacks and struck at 2 enemy command posts

The Russian Federation continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensives in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Mariinka directions. Thus, Ukrainian defenders repelled more than 50 enemy attacks in these areas.

“Over the past day, the Defense Forces' aviation launched 11 strikes on the invading Russian troops' military positions, and units of missile troops and artillery hit 2 control points, 3 manpower concentration areas, and military equipment of the enemy,” the General Staff added.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected. 

Combat training activities of the Russian Armed Forces continue on the territory of Belarus. The Russian army continues to maintain a military presence in the border areas of the Kursk and Belgorod regions.

At the same time, the Russian Federation does not stop shelling the entire border line: 1 settlement in the Chernihiv region, 6 settlements in the Sumy region, as well as 9 villages and towns in the Kharkiv region were attacked. 

Russian attacks on other Ukrainian regions

In the Lyman direction, invading Russian forces conducted unsuccessful offensives near 4 settlements over the past day. 8 localities came under artillery shelling. 

In the Bakhmut direction, the occupying troops continue to assault the city of Bakhmut, which is held by Ukrainian defenders, as well as in the area of Predtechyne in the Donetsk region. 9 settlements came under enemy attacks. 

In the Avdiivka and Mariinka directions, the Russian enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives in the direction of 4 settlements. 10 localities in the Donetsk region were subjected to attacks. 

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, occupying Russian troops continue to defend themselves. 10 cities and villages, including Kherson itself, came under enemy fire.
