Russian troops attack Kharkiv, damage farmland, granary in Odesa region

On the night of September 16 to 17, Russian troops launched missile attacks on the city of Kharkiv. They also targeted agricultural land and a grain storage facility in the Odesa region

Ukrainian Defense Forces responsible for southern Ukraine reported the information.

The statement said that 5 cruise missiles were destroyed in the sky over the Odesa region during the night and morning. However, Russian troops targeted agricultural infrastructure.

Thus, the missile attack damaged farmland and a grain storage facility in the Berezivka district of the Odesa region. There were no human casualties.

Later, Serhiy Bratchuk, the spokesman for the Odesa Regional Military Administration, confirmed that Russian forces had launched cruise missiles, specifically the Kh-101 and Kh-505 models, at the region during the night. Additionally, the Russian military also launched “kamikaze” drones at Ukraine.

"The enemy continues to combine and mix, trying to create the most complex routes. These maneuvers are ongoing, even though some of these routes overlap with previous ones that our air defense and defense forces are familiar with. Consequently, they will continue to successfully intercept and improve their performance in doing so," Bratchuk emphasized.

In addition, Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported the attack on Kharkiv.

"The occupiers are striking at Kharkiv. Stay in shelters!" he wrote.

Subsequently, it was revealed that Russian troops launched a missile attack on the city around 00:30 am, employing S-300 guided missiles. This attack resulted in four missiles striking a civilian enterprise building, leading to a subsequent fire outbreak.

As of the morning of Sunday, September 17, there was no information about casualties or damage.
