Russian troops attack 9 regions of Ukraine: at least 2 people killed and 11 injured. Situation in regions

Information on the consequences of the strikes as of 09:00 am was released by the regional military administrations.

Cherkasy region: on the night of July 12, Russian troops attacked the region with Shahed drones. As a result, one of the non-residential infrastructure facilities in the Cherkasy district was hit. Two victims with burns were reported, they were taken to hospital. 

Chernihiv region: over the day, Russian troops shelled 2 communities with mortars. 

Sumy region: at night and in the morning of July 11, Russian forces attacked the region 6 times. Two communities were shelled. Also on July 11, Russian troops fired 22 times at the border. Eight communities were attacked.

Zaporizhzhia region: Russian forces fired 69 times at 16 frontline settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. Artillery strikes hit 7 settlements, and 2 others were attacked 3 times with air bombs. As a result of the shelling, there were 43 reports of destruction of civilian objects.

An 85-year-old man was seriously injured during an artillery attack on a residential area in Huliaipole. He was rushed to the nearest medical facility, but, unfortunately, passed away.

Dnipropetrovsk region: since the evening Russian troops fired at Nikopol district 6 times. They attacked the Marhanets community and Nikopol with a drone and heavy artillery. 

Kharkiv region: during the day, Russian troops shelled about 15 border settlements of Kharkiv, Izyum, Chuhuiv, and Kupyansk districts with artillery. Four private houses were damaged, a 74-year-old man was injured. 

Luhansk region: Russian troops attacked 3 settlements yesterday. At night, they attacked with MLRS. Overall, they launched 107 attacks in the last day.

Donetsk region: Russian troops launched 17 attacks over the last day with Smerch, Grad MLRS, artillery, and mortars. Eight settlements came under fire. As a result of the attacks, 16 residential buildings, an outbuilding of Agrotisa LLC, a garage, and a civilian car were damaged.

Mykolaiv region: yesterday Russian troops shelled the town of Ochakiv with artillery, damaging residential buildings. An outbuilding caught fire. Also yesterday, they fired at the Kutsurub community. As a result of the shelling, dry grass caught fire in household plots. 

Kherson region: Russian troops launched 67 attacks on the region over the last day, including 5 artillery attacks on the city of Kherson. They attacked 23 settlements in the region: a humanitarian headquarters building, a water tower, and at least five residential buildings. 

An 8-year-old boy was injured in the attacks and diagnosed with moderate injuries. A 68-year-old man was seriously injured. Two people, a 56-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man, sustained moderate injuries. Another man was injured in Kindiyka settlement. Russian troops also shelled a settlment with Grad MLRS. A 65-year-old woman died as a result of the shelling.
