Russian troops advance towards Kostiantynivka — Ukraine’s 93rd Brigade
The occupying Russian army is advancing towards Kostiantynivka from the Chasiv Yar direction
The platoon commander of Ukraine's 93rd Brigade with the call sign Omar shared the information on Espreso TV.
"We are currently in the area of Klishchiivka, Chasiv Yar, Toretsk and the Pokrovsk direction. The situation at the front has escalated. The Russian army has launched an active offensive. The weather is helping them, and they are actively conducting assault operations. Unfortunately, Russian troops are advancing towards Kostiantynivka from our flanks," said Omar.
The platoon commander reported that Russian forces have significantly increased their use of drones to support assault operations. According to him, they continue to coordinate their attacks using a variety of equipment types.
“The Russians continue to combine different equipment in their attacks. They are using motorcycles and other equipment, and there are ongoing attempts to advance using so-called ‘grills’ (improvised structures meant to protect against UAVs - ed.),” he added. “The occupiers have also significantly increased the number of drones and trained operators.”
- On June 12, the Ukrainian General Staff reported that 220 combat clashes had taken place on the Russian-Ukrainian front since the beginning of the day on Wednesday, June 11. In the Pokrovsk sector alone, 62 Russian attacks have been recorded.
