On November 29, German Minister of Justice Marco Buschmann said after a meeting with G7 counterparts that Russia's "systematic" destruction of Ukraine's energy infrastructure is a "terrible war crime."
Buschmann emphasized that Moscow is trying to deprive people of heating and electricity during the winter period, when the temperature can drop to 30 degrees below zero.
Buschmann added that "war crimes must not go unpunished."
Moreover, the German minister is sure that Russian leadership will eventually stand trial at the International Criminal Court for war crimes in Ukraine.
