Russian-speakers must decide: if they are with Putin, they have nothing to do in Latvia - minister of defense
There cannot be any position in the middle - Russian-speakers in Latvia must decide whether they are with democracy or with the empire and the Russian Federation

This was stated by Latvian Defense Minister Artis Pabriks on Espreso TV.
"During the occupation, many Russians came. They wanted to live well and insist on their language and culture. They came here like home and we were in the minority here. And it hurt us, otherwise we would not have stood at the barricades in 1991. I think that for many Russian-speakers, this is a time of such a hangover. They have to decide now - whether they are with the humane world, democracy, Latvia and Ukraine, or with Putin and the empire. If the second is the case, we have nothing to do with them. Zero tolerance here, there is no longer a position in the middle," he said.
