Serhiy Haidai, the head of the Luhansk Regional Military–Civil Administration, reports on Telegram that "Russian soldiers are walking over the corpses of their own people while trying to break through our defences near Svatove-Kreminna. The land of Luhansk is strewn with the bodies of dead invaders. During such attacks, Russian command sends 20 to 50 soldiers on "reconnaissance", which they cannot survive. They die, and the next ones follow, and more and more... With each new attack Russian soldiers "walk over" their dead. Of course, no one takes the bodies away. They do not value life. Soldiers are considered as "cannon fodder.”

Haidai emphasized that heavy shelling of the de-occupied settlements continues. It is dangerous for people to return there. Villages are littered with mines and unexploded shells. Only domestic animals can be seen on the mutilated streets.
