Russian military strikes Avdiivka: civilians injured 

The Donetsk regional prosecutor's office spokesperson, Anastasia Miedviedieva, reported that Russian troops shelled Avdiivka on the morning of October 21, 2023, using artillery. Preliminary information indicates that a 35-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman sustained injuries from the shelling.

Both injured individuals were transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. 

In response to this incident, the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office has initiated a pre-trial investigation for violations of the laws and customs of war.
