The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported the information.
On Saturday, September 23, Russian troops launched 21 attacks on the border areas and settlements of the Sumy region. They used mortars, artillery, drones, and grenade launchers.
A total of 101 explosions were recorded in the region, with shelling occurring in 9 communities.
Artillery fire targeted the Yunakivka community, resulting in the death of a local resident.

On September 23, Russia deployed a company of saboteurs near the border of Sumy and Kharkiv regions, ostensibly for training purposes.
