Russian Security Council Secretary Patrushev visits Iran, Ukraine explaines why
On November 9, the Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Patrushev, arrived in Iran for a "security consultation". Zelenskyy’s Office names the real reason.
Mykhailo Podolyak, Adviser to the Head of the Office of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, made a comment on Twitter.
“Kremlin is exhausted. RF's resources are close to the limit. Hence hysterical requests for a break ("negotiations"). Hence Patrushev's visit to Tehran: looking for a way to continue war, get missiles/drones, fix its missile lack,” he wrote.
He calls on allies to double aid for Ukraine considering the circumstances.
Russian mass media also confirmed the visit of Nikolay Patrushev, the Secretary of the Security Council of Russia, to Iran.
They report that Patrushev "will hold planned Russian-Iranian security consultations with the participation of security council specialists and representatives of a number of ministries and departments of the two countries" in Tehran.
