Russian scientists who developed Kinzhal missiles jailed for treason

At least three Russian scientists who worked in the field of hypersonic technologies — Anatoly Maslov, Aleksandr Shiplyuk and Valery Zvegintsev — are being held in custody in Russia on charges of "treason."

There was a "treason"... in speeches given at conferences abroad, the publication of articles in popular magazines, and involvement in international projects.

Moreover, these scientists have been held in custody for a long time, but the failure of the Kinzhal missiles over Kyiv brought their situation to my attention once again.

The imprisonment of these scientists for their scientific work and prosecution for their connections with foreign countries is entirely in the spirit of neo-Stalinism that the Putin regime is cosplaying.

Considering that high-tech production in Russia is very limited due to sanctions, the regime may well dispose of the scientists, considering them redundant.

And showing yet another example of barbarism.
