Russian propagandists spread staged videos of alleged battles for Bakhmut
The National Resistance Center has reported that Russia distributes staged videos of the alleged battles for the city of Bakhmut, Donetsk region
This was reported by the National Resistance Center.
On January 22, Russian propagandist Semyon Pegov published a video of the "battle for Bilohorivka", although the settlement is now under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"In fact, the video was filmed on the outskirts of the village of Shypylivka, 8 km from Bilohorivka. The video itself demonstrates that it is the Ukrainian Armed Forces that are conducting an offensive in this area of the frontline, not the other way around," the Center noted.
The Center also informed about a video by another Russian propagandist that was published on January 24.
"It allegedly shows fighting in Krasna Hora (a village near Bakhmut), but in fact the video is staged and filmed in Mariupol," the experts added.
