Russian oligarchs and gauleiters divide spheres of influence in Melitopol
Melitopol’s mayor says Russian oligarchs and so-called authorities use Melitopol as administrative and logistical center and fight for two spheres of influence in the city
Ivan Fedorov, mayor of the city, told it live on the Espreso TV channel.
According to him, many businessmen, oligarchs, gauleiters from other captured regions are coming to occupied Melitopol. Their goal is to take resources and last funds from residents.
"They have several spheres, which they zealously divide among themselves: the first and main one is export of Ukrainian grain. At first they exported everything from factories, elevators and large agricultural enterprises, and now - from hangars. The second is the fuel market: gasoline, diesel, which gauleiter Balytskyi tried to control. Then FSB took it away from him", the mayor said.
Ivan Fedorov noted that Russian invading forces use the region for various degrees of looting.
