Russian occupying forces shell Mykolaiv, hit residential building
An air raid alert has been announced in the city and region, all services are working at the impact site
This was reported by the mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Sienkevych.
It is noted that an S-300 missile hit the residential building. As a result of the impact, apartments on the 5th and 4th floors were destroyed, and cars parked in the yard were damaged. The windows of neighboring houses were shattered. Some residents received minor injuries.
Sienkevych also wrote that several residential buildings were also damaged in another area of the city. They have broken windows, mutilated walls, and roofs. Also, a fire broke out in the garage from a missile strike, which has already been extinguished by rescuers of Ukraine's State Emergency Service. A mother and a three-month-old child were injured and hospitalized immediately after the shelling.
In total, five people were injured in today's strikes in the city.
Earlier, Suspilne reported about the shelling, which took place around 4:00 a.m.
"There are explosions in Mykolaiv. An air raid alert has been announced in the city and the region," the journalists reported.
Later, Oleksandr Sienkevych, the mayor of Mykolaiv, confirmed the information.
"A residential building was hit. All services have gone to the crime scene. All the details later," the city's mayor wrote in Telegram.
