Deputy of the Kherson Regional Council Serhii Khlan informed about this at a media briefing.
"Kozatske and Vesele have been reinforced with personnel, this is on the approaches to the dam of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant. Information also emerged today that the occupiers have strengthened the fortifications in Naddnipryansk," Khlan said.
The official believes that the Russian fortifications are being made in order to ensure the withdrawal of their units from the frontline.
"In other words, we can say that under the pressure of our Armed Forces, the occupiers are preparing and doing everything possible so that it is not an absolute failure of the front, but that it looks like a planned retreat from the frontline," Khlan added.
