Russian occupiers search homes of three Crimean Tatars: two of them are taken to unknown place
Russian invaders came to search the houses of three Crimean Tatars - the Akhaev brothers. Two of them were detained and taken to an unknown destination
This was announced by the chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Refat Chubarov.
He noted that the search was conducted in the Medvedivka village of the Dzhankoy district of Crimea in the homes of three brothers - Ernest, Marlen and Amet. The first two were detained.
Chubarov clarified that the Russians did not inform about the reasons for the searches.
The ZMINA human rights center, with reference to the Crimean human rights defender Lilia Gemedzhy, adds that the two Akhaev brothers are probably being tortured by the Russian occupiers. There is also a possibility that they use other illegal methods of investigative actions against detainees.
The Center notes that Gemedzhy came to such conclusions because the Russian occupation authorities are hiding the whereabouts of Ernest and Marlen. Also, the invaders do not allow a lawyer to conduct investigative actions.
ZMINA writes that the relatives have already managed to find out the geolocation of the gadgets that were seized from the Akhaev brothers. Thus, it was established that they are in the building of the illegal formation of the FSB Department of Dzhankoy.
So far, the defense has filed complaints with the so-called prosecutor of the Republic of Crimea, the military investigative units in Dzhankoy and Simferopol, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea and the pseudo-police in Dzhankoy.
