"They change into civilian clothes, look for watercraft to cross to the left bank. They steal cars from locals in order to flee to Crimea. If they cannot escape, they hide in abandoned houses," Khlan said.
According to him, the occupiers panic and set up prisons for their soldiers who write reports for release.
"Russian soldiers are thrown into the basement and raised for ten days. Those who break are sent back to the front. Kadyriv troops also work, they shoot those who retreat," Khlan added.
