Russian occupiers announce shutdown of all ZNPP units and may be preparing provocations - Melitopol Mayor Fedorov
According to the mayor of Melitopol, the statement of Russian terrorists about the possible shutdown of all power units at Zaporizhzhya NPP may indicate the preparation of hostile provocations.
This was reported by Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov on Telegram.
Fedorov notes that the Russians have announced the shutdown of all units of the Zaporizhzhia NPP.
"Together with the evacuation of residents of the frontline areas and the escape of collaborators, the demonstrative hysteria of the invaders looks like preparation for provocations that will be blamed on the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
I appeal to the residents of the occupied territories: take care of yourself, avoid massive crowds in the coming days, stay away from the occupiers' places of residence," the mayor of Melitopol wrote.
On May 3, the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine reported that the occupiers had placed military equipment and explosives in the turbine room of ZNPP.
