On the evening of March 5, the Russian army carried out a missile attack on a hotel in Kryvyi Rih, resulting in the deaths of four people and injuries to many others
The head of the Dnipro Regional Military Administration Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council Oleksandr Vilkul and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on the attack.
A Russian missile struck a five-story hotel in Kryvyi Rih, causing a fire.
Officials confirmed multiple casualties. Initially, two people were killed, and 11 were injured, including six in serious condition. By early morning on March 6, the death toll rose to three, with 31 injured, including a teen — 14 of them in serious condition.
Rescue operations saved 14 people, but the number of wounded continued to climb, reaching 29 by 1:09 a.m., with doctors fighting to save 20 critically injured victims.
At 8:24 a.m., the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that the fire caused by the Russian strike had been extinguished, and 19 people had been rescued.
The attack damaged 14 apartment buildings, a post office, a house of culture, 12 shops, and 19 cars.
Around 9 a.m., reports emerged that a man injured in the missile attack had succumbed to his wounds in the hospital. The head of the Regional Military Administration stated that he was 43 years old, bringing the death toll to four.

“In addition to the hotel, the attack damaged densely populated multi-story buildings, affecting 18 residential houses, two schools, two kindergartens, a cultural center, more than 10 shops, and several dozen cars.
We are still clearing the rubble and have now reached the first floor. I believe we will complete the work by 10 or 11 a.m.,” Vilkul added.
