Russian military ships seen in Nord Stream area days before explosions

A few days before the Nord Stream-1 and Nord Stream-2 gas pipelines were sabotaged, Russian warships were spotted nearby

This is reported by the German publication T-Online.

According to its investigation, data from open sources, and information from security circles, the publication informs that Russia may become the main suspect in the Nord Stream sabotage.

The article reports that at least three suspicious vessels left the Russian naval base in Kaliningrad on the night of September 21. They were accompanied by three other ships of the Russian Navy and provided military protection. The Russian Ministry of Defense explained the escorting of the convoy with an "educational purpose."

The vessels had the necessary equipment for installing explosive devices, the journalists found.

"Experts suspected that there had been submarines that could place explosive charges on the pipelines. If it was confirmed that the SS-750 was at the crime scene, the main suspect would be the Russian Navy," the investigation continues.
