Russian military personnel is increasing in Zaporizhzhia region
Serhiy Lyshenko, a deputy of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council, told Espreso TV that the Russian military in the occupied territories of the Zaporizhia region is demoralized.
"In the Zaporizhzhia region, the number of Russian troops is growing, according to local residents. Russian troops are being relocated to Dniprorudne, Enerhodar, Melitopol. It is currently unknown whether these are the troops who were recouped from Dnipro’s right bank, or those who were in reserve. They immediately start to arrange their positions, build more fortifications, and settle in houses of local residents," said Lyshenko.
According to him, the defenses that the Russian military is setting up will not be able to restrain the Ukrainian army.
"The Russian military, who have been deployed here for a long time, are already demoralized. They are telling the locals: one day in the morning you will wake up, and we are no longer here. That means they understand there will be no street battles. They are mentally ready to retreat," Lyshenko emphasized.
