Russian military kidnap 4 Zaporizhzhia NPP employees
On Thursday, April 6, masked Russian troops have kidnapped and taken 4 employees of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in an unknown location
This was reported by Energoatom, a Ukrainian state-owned energy company.
"On the evening of April 6, masked invaders broke into one of the premises of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP and took 4 employees of the station's physical protection service," the press service writes.
The employees were taken in an unknown direction, their whereabouts are unknown.
All 4 nuclear workers were considered loyal to the occupation management of the plant and signed contracts with the fake Zaporizhzhia NPP Operating Organization.
Among the detainees was the deputy "head" of the service, Mark Volkov, who facilitated Russia’s illegal activities at the Zaporizhzhia NPP.
"Despite the 'official' transfer to work for the occupiers, their bosses cannot find the detainees' Russian passports: either they have not yet taken them or are carefully hiding them. Perhaps, in this way they are trying to "get between the cracks" in order not to be included in the list of defectors after de-occupation, and this is exactly what the Rascists did not like," Energoatom suggests.
At the same time, the situation at the temporarily occupied ZNPP is becoming increasingly tense, with Russian troops conducting inspections and searches, and even cooperation with the occupying forces does not save from interrogations.
