Russian media shows how Belarusian military is trained to use tactical nuclear weapons

The calculation training of a separate missile division of the Armed Forces of Belarus, equipped with the operational-tactical missile complex Iskander-M, took place at one of the ranges of the southern military district of the Russian Federation from April 3 to 22.

"The staff of the calculations studied in detail the issues regarding the operation and use of tactical special ammunition for the Iskander-M," said the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

• On March 25, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that a storage facility for Russian tactical nuclear weapons would be completed in Belarus by July 1.

• On March 31, the self-proclaimed president of Belarus announced his readiness to accept strategic nuclear weapons from Russia, if necessary.

• On April 4, the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Shoigu announced that Belarus received from Russia operational-tactical missile complexes Iskander-M, which are capable of carrying a nuclear charge.
