"Russian losses increase yet again” – Ukrainian commander on destroying Russian military equipment
Commander Tarnavskyi reported the destruction of a Tor missile system and 11 UAVs in the Tavria region as of the evening of Saturday, October 28
The information was provided by commander Oleksandr Tarnavskyi of the Tavria operational and strategic troops group.
“The enemy's casualties have started rising again, with a total of 4 airstrikes, 47 combat clashes, and 1,014 artillery shells fired. The offensive operation in the Melitopol direction is still ongoing,” he stated.
Throughout the day, Ukrainian missile troops and artillery units performed 1,256 firing missions. Russia’s total losses amounted to 529 soldiers, with one serviceman surrendering.
The Ukrainian military has neutralized 36 pieces of Russian equipment, including 7 tanks, 9 armored combat vehicles, 1 artillery system, 11 UAVs, a special equipment unit, a Tor anti-aircraft missile system, and an ammunition depot.
On October 27, there were 48 combat clashes along the front lines. The Ukrainian Defense Forces maintain their offensive operations in the Melitopol and Bakhmut areas, with the majority of Russian assaults being repelled in the Marinka, Avdiivka, and Kupyansk directions.
