Russian invaders shell residential areas in Toretsk, Donetsk region
On November 11, the Russian army shelled residential infrastructure of Toretsk, Donetsk region, with Grad multiple rocket launchers and artillery, killing a 61-year-old woman and a 65-year-old man
The Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office reported the information.
"The enemy shells hit residential areas, where apartment buildings are located next to the private sector," the statement said.
A 61-year-old woman walking down the street and a 65-year-old man riding a bicycle came under Russian fire. They sustained injuries that turned out to be fatal.
Also, as a result of the artillery shelling, windows and doors of residential buildings and household structures were shattered, floor slabs were destroyed, and roofs and plaster were damaged.
The National Police has documented the consequences of the Russian attacks and informed about the amount of damaged infrastructure.
"Russian aggressors attacked Toretsk with Grad systems, killing two people. 20 private and 3 apartment buildings and a car were damaged," the statement said.
Under the procedural supervision of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted in criminal proceedings over violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
