Russian helicopters shell Energodar every 10-15 minutes before IAEA mission arrives - city council
Yana Dabizha, from Energodar City Council, has said she believes that the Russian invading forces shelled the city to frighten residents so that people would not go out on the street
She talked about this live on Espresso.
"Yesterday, September 1, every 10-15 minutes enemy K-52 helicopters fired at the city near the embankment, most of the shells hit the water. But civilian infrastructure, social and residential buildings were damaged, there are dead and one child was injured," the manager of the executive committee of the city council informed.
Yana Dabizha noted that the attacks were conducted from the territory not controlled by Ukraine, which was seen yesterday, September 1, by all residents of the city.
"It is possible that the invaders fired at Energodar in order to frighten citizens so that people would not go out on the street. But as soon as the IAEA mission entered the city, the shelling stopped and resumed as soon as the mission left the city," Dabizha said.
