Russian forces use anti-aircraft systems to reach outskirts of Zaporizhzhia - regional council deputy Lyshenko
Serhii Lyshenko, a volunteer and member of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council, said that according to various sources, Russian troops are firing from S-300 Uragan systems.
He told about this on Espresso.
"The enemy was able to reach the outskirts of the city of Zaporizhzhia with anti-aircraft missiles, which he constantly does. Today, August 27, there was shelling at night, 16 explosions were counted. It is known that residential buildings on the city's borders were damaged. Various sources say that the shelling took place from C -300 or from "hurricanes". Accordingly, today we have a situation that the enemy has begun to reach the city, which creates a problem for Zaporizhzhia", - noted the deputy of the regional council.
Serhiy Lyshenko expressed concern that in the future Zaporizhzhia will face the same situation as in Mykolaiv and Kharkiv.
"This is a well-known tactic of the enemy - scorched earth, because they hit the infrastructure of the city and objects that can be a shelter during hostilities. Also, the enemy systematically destroys the cities that stand in his way every day, so his progress is only due to the fact that these settlements cease to exist. The cities of Orihiv and Gulyaipole are almost completely destroyed, and the villages on the demarcation line look like a pile of broken building materials," said Lyshenko.
