Russian forces threaten Ukrainians with prison, deportation for snubbing Russian passports in Kherson region – General Staff

In the village of Mykhailivka, Kherson region, Russian forces raid homes because of refusals to take Russian passports, and threaten locals with imprisonment and deportation

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this. 

"In the village of Mykhailivka, Skadovsk district, Kherson region, Russian occupation forces are harassing local residents who refuse to receive Russian passports. Because of the refusal to take Russian passports, invading Russian forces raid homes, carry out humiliating inspections, threaten imprisonment and deportation," the statement said.

The system was hit by rocket and artillery units. These types of troops also hit the area of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment.

In turn, Ukrainian aviation carried out 7 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and 4 on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile systems over the day.

Over the past day, the Russian army fired 48 times from multiple rocket launchers at the territory of Ukraine

Russian enemy also launched 5 missile and 47 air strikes over the last day. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed.

Over 30 combat clashes took place over the last day.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly. 

At the same time, the Russian army continued shelling the entire borderline with mortars and artillery: over 25 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions were attacked

Russian attacks in other Ukrainian regions:

In the Kupyansk direction, 6 settlements of the Kharkiv region came under artillery shelling. 

In the Lyman direction, over 10 settlements in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions came under Russian fire. 

In the Bakhmut direction, over 25 localities in the Donetsk region were attacked by the invading Russian forces. 

In the Avdiivka direction, more than 6 settlements in the Donetsk region were attacked. 

In the Maryinka direction, over 6 settlements in the Donetsk region came under shelling. 

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy launched air strikes in the areas of Zaliznychne and Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region. More than 20 localities suffered from enemy artillery shelling.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, over 6 localities in the Donetsk region were shelled. 

In the Kherson directions, over 10 villages and the city of Kherson were subjected to numerous attacks by the occupying Russian army. 

At the same time, the Ukrainian army continues its offensive operations in the Melitopol sector, consolidating positions and conducting counter-battery operations.
