Russian forces suffer huge losses, equip more frontline hospitals – General Staff

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this. 

“Continuing to suffer huge losses, invading Russian forces are equipping more and more of their hospitals along the contact line. Thus, in the village of Rozivka in the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region, one of these facilities is located in the building of the local hospital,” the military wrote.

It is reported that about 50 seriously wounded Russian soldiers were brought there over the past day.

Also in the village of Vysoke, Zaporizhzhia region, the Russian troops set up a clinic in the building of the local school. On March 19, “a large number of seriously wounded personnel” were also brought in. The General Staff does not specify the number, but emphasizes that the enemy used 4 medical trucks based on KamAZ.

In addition, Ukrainian aviation launched 9 strikes on the invading Russian forces' military positions, and missile and artillery units hit three areas where enemy manpower, weapons and equipment were concentrated.

The Russian army launched 4 missile and 13 airstrikes on Ukraine

The country sponsoring terrorism launched 4 missile strikes and 13 airstrikes over the last day, as well as fired 7 times from multiple launch rocket systems at peaceful settlements in Ukraine.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly. 

At the same time, the Russian Federation continued shelling the entire border line with mortars and artillery: 9 settlements in the Sumy region, 3 more in the Chernihiv region, as well as 9 villages in the Kharkiv region were attacked. 

The situation in other Ukrainian regions that are subjected to Russian attacks:

• In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, 10 settlements came under artillery fire. The Russian enemy conducted an unsuccessful offensive in the direction of Novoselivske.

• In the Bakhmut direction, invading Russian forces continue to try to capture the city of Bakhmut, and positional fighting is ongoing. At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled enemy attacks on 2 settlements, while 9 localities in the Donetsk region came under fire. 

• In the Avdiivka, Mariinka and Shakhtarsk directions, the enemy launched an unsuccessful offensive in the direction of 3 settlements. 10 towns and villages of the Donetsk region came under fire. 

• In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, occupying Russian forces are defending themselves. Over 24 towns and villages were subjected to enemy attacks. 

The military emphasizes that the level of missile threat remains high across Ukraine.
