Russian forces strike civilian objects in Kramatorsk, Kryvyi Rih and Zaporizhzhia region 

This was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the morning report on December 7.

Russian missiles hit residential buildings and other civilian objects in Kramatorsk, Kryvyi Rih and Stepne village in the Zaporizhzhia region.

The threat of Russian missile strikes on energy system facilities and critical infrastructure throughout Ukraine remains.

"In the Lyman, Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions, the Russian forces focus their efforts on conducting offensive operations. In other areas, they try to hold temporarily occupied territories, focus efforts on deterring the actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces units, equip defensive lines and positions conducting reconnaissance," the report says.

Over the past day, the Defense Forces units repelled Russian attacks near the settlements of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Verkhnokamianske, Spirne, Yakovlivka, Bakhmut, Bila Hora, Kurdiumivka, Novobakhmutivka, Mariinka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region.  

In the Siversk direction (northern part of Ukraine, boarders with Russia), Russian forces carried out artillery and mortar attacks on the settlements of Hremyach in the Chernihiv region and Esman, Pavlivka, Kindrativka, Zapsillya and Myropillya in the Sumy region.

In the Slobozhanshchyna direction areas of the settlements of Strilecha, Krasne, Ternova, Ohirtseve, Starytsia, Hatyshche, Vovchanski Khutory, Volokhivka, Chuhunivka and Kamianka of Kharkiv region, were shelled from tanks, mortars and barrel artillery.

On Kupyansk direction, Russian forces conduct defensive actions. Dvorichna, Kupyansk, Kyslivka, Kotlyarivka, Tabaivka, Krokhmalne, Pishchane, Berestove and Pershotravneve in Kharkiv region, Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk region were hit by tanks and the entire range of artillery.

In the Lyman direction, the Russian forces shelled Makiivka, Ploschanka and Nevske in the Luhansk region, Terny, Yampolivka and Lyman in Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions, the Russian forces focus their main efforts on conducting offensive operations. The settlements of Bilohorivka, Verkhnokamianske, Spirne, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Klishchiyivka, Bila Hora, Kurdiumivka, Druzhba, Zalizne, Avdiivka, Vodyane, Pervomayske, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Mariinka and Novomykhailivka of Donetsk region were shelled with tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, the Russian forces are on the defensive. The Russian forces' artillery and mortars were fired at Vuhledar, Bohoyavlenka, Prechystivka and Zolota Nyva in the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Russian forces are trying to improve their tactical position. They carried out attacks from tanks, mortars and artillery in more than 10 settlements. Among them are Vremivka and Novopil in the Donetsk region and Olhivske, Dorozhnyanka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Stepove and Plavni in the Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, the Russian forces are defending themselves, strengthening the group of troops. They carried out artillery attacks on the areas of more than 15 settlements near the contact line. These are, particularly, Osokorivka, Zolota Balka, Dudchany, Antonivka, Bilohrudove of Kherson region, Kherson and Mykolaiv.
