Russian forces shell residential areas of Nikopol, damaging houses, church, school, gas furnaces, injuring one person
On the night of August 18, Russian forces fired at houses, a school, a church, a shop, and power lines in the Dnipropetrovsk region, injuring a woman.
Head of Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration Valentyn Reznichenko shared the news on Telegram.
Russian forces shelles the Nikopol district twice during the night. Residential quarters were hit by 15 barrel artillery shells. A 57-year-old woman was injured and was hospitalized. They also damaged 15 private houses, a school, cars, a shop, a temple, several gas pipelines and power lines. Emergency crews are on the scene.
In the Kryvyi Rih district, Russian forces opened fire with Uragan MLRS on the Apostolivska community. There were no damages or injuries.
A damaged power line is being repaired in Velika Kostromka of the Zelenodol community. As a result of the Russian attack on the evening of August 17, up to 1,000 people were left without electricity.
