Russian forces shell occupied territories of Kherson region on January 7

Serhiy Khlan, deputy of the Kherson Regional Council claimed the Russian forces not only shelled the Kherson region’s right bank, but also attacked the occupied Kakhovka and Hola Prystan

He told about this on Espreso TV channel.

"On January 7, the Russian forces attacked the occupied towns. The private sector in Kakhovka was covered by artillery shelling; people saw strikes from the industrial part of the occupied town. The Russian forces were not only shelling the right bank, but also Kakhovka and Hola Prystan from the occupied territory to make their next claim about the shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. That allegedly they are holding a "truce" on their side, and they are being shelled," the deputy of the regional council commented.

Serhiy Khlan added that another false propaganda of Russian authorities fails because people see where the attacks are coming from.

"The town of Beryslav was shelled. If we are talking about the right-bank part, not only the regional center suffers from shelling, but Beryslav also suffers. The Russian forces are shelling this town, which is located on the Dnipro river bank, with artillery and even tanks," said Khlan.
