Russian forces shell Nikopol, Kryvyi Rih districts, damaging houses, cars, injuring people

On the night of August 1, Russian troops shelled the Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region, injuring people

This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration Valentyn Reznichenko.

"At night, the enemy again shelled two districts of the region - Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih. More than 60 shellings of Marganets and Chervonogrigorivsk communities. The Russian army deliberately targeted residential neighborhoods - at people who were sleeping at that time," Reznichenko wrote.

Russian forces fired at Marganets. Shells hit 8 private houses, a cafe and a garment factory. The city is partially without light.

Six children were sleeping in one of the houses, the youngest was two years old. The children are known to be unharmed, and the 31-year-old woman was hospitalized in critical condition.

In addition, a 69-year-old woman was injured in the village of Chervonogrigorivka. Russian shells damaged 24 houses, 10 farm buildings, 6 cars, a low-pressure gas pipeline and a power line. A fire broke out in the garage of a private household.

"In the Chervonogrigorivka community, three dozen private houses and cars of local residents were damaged. The power line was also affected. Several streets of Chervonogrigorivka are without electricity. In the Kryvyi Rih district, the enemy fired barrel artillery at the Zelenodolsk community. Fortunately, there were no casualties or destruction," the regional head added.  

On the morning of August 1, the head of the Nikopol district military administration Yevhen Yevtushenko wrote on Telegram that Russian forces shelled the territories of Marganetska and Chervonogrigorivska communities.
