Russian forces shell Mykolaiv with rockets, hitting 2 medical facilities, houses, injuring people

On the morning of July 12, Russian forces launched multiple rocket assaults on Mykolaiv, there are casualties.

Deputy Head of the President's Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko notes that Russian forces shelled the city using cluster munitions and Tornado-S MLRS. As a result of shelling, the lyceum, hospital and private houses were damaged.

12 people were injured.

Also, according to the State Emergency Service, a total of 5 fires were registered in the Mykolaiv region over the past day, which occurred as a result of Russian shelling:

One in Shevchenkove village, Mykolaiv district. A private residential building was on fire there. There was also a fire on the open territory of the Kutsurub territorial community of the Mykolaiv district. Rescuers extinguished the fire in an area of ​​500 square meters. 

Previously, the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration reported that Russian missiles had hit two medical facilities and residential buildings. As a result of the shelling, 4 people were injured, there were no previous deaths.

Also, on the evening of July 11 at around 19:00 and today, July 12 at around 04:30, Russian forces shelled the Shyrokiv community of the region. The shells hit mostly outside the population centers. There are no casualties.

Shelling of settlements along the contact line in Berezneguvatsk territorial community also continues. Information on victims and damage is being clarified.

In the Mykolaiv district on July 11 at 16:30, private agriculture, agricultural machinery, and a residential building were damaged as a result of Russian shelling of Pervomaiske village. There are no casualties.

On the morning of July 12, the Mykolaiv mayor Senkevych confirmed the explosions in the city.
