Valentin Reznichenko, head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, shared the information on Telegram.
According to him, the shelling happened after midnight. Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the city's military administration, noted that the attack resulted in significant destruction and a fire that was later extinguished. A 42-year-old employee of the enterprise died, his body was found under the rubble of the destroyed building.
Two people aged 44 and one person aged 45 were injured. They were taken to a local hospital, their condition is of moderate severity.
Russian troops also shelled the Nikopol district and the Marganets community, southern Ukraine, with heavy artillery. There are no victims, the details are being clarified.
At 02:11 a.m., Vilkul reported that several explosions rang out in the city.
"Kryvyi Rih. There have been several powerful explosions in the city," he wrote.
Vilkul urged not to film or post information regarding the attack on social media.
