Oleh Synyehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, shared the details on Telegram.
"Attention, residents of Kharkiv, stay in shelters and do not ignore the air raid alert! The Russian occupiers are attacking Kharkiv", Synyehubov wrote.
An air raid alert was announced in the city at 5:04 p.m.
