Russian forces shell Bakhmut, killing 12-year old boy
On the afternoon of January 31, invading Russian forces shelled Bakhmut, Donetsk region, with artillery, killing 2 civilians

Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, reported this.
“Two people were killed as a result of another shelling that took place a few hours ago. One of the killed is a minor boy,” he wrote.
He also reported about 4 wounded civilians.
The official noted that a pharmacy, shop buildings and other structures were damaged.
The Prosecutor General's Office adds that the killed minor was 12 years old, and the other victim was a man.
The authorities clarify that as of 3:37 p.m. there was information that at least five citizens sustained injuries of varying severity.
The exact number of victims is being clarified.
Currently, proceedings have been opened on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war.
